Cincinnati Underground

Line-Up:
    Steve Turner (Lead Guitar)
    Alan Havill (Bass Guitar)
    John Sawyer (Drums)
    Bill Lawton (Drums)
    Les Richards (Vocals)

Cincinnati Underground played in Auckland from late 1968 until 1970. Unusual in its configuration by the fact that two drummers were used, they were resident at the Bowl for most of 1969. Bill Lawton had previously been with the House Of Nimrod. Basically an "underground" sound, they never recorded any of their music.

Warren McKenzie was also a member of the group during their time. He had previously played with Lika Street Choir.
