The Anritsu Cards produced by Telstra were made up in a Prefix Number range starting at 0 and concluding with 1581. The prefix number is identifiable, starting from the right, as the 6th to 9th numbers on any card. Thus card number 0117672453 is the 72453rd card of prefix 1176. Some unique issues were spread over a number of prefix numbers, while other prefix numbers were shared with different faces. Due to production problems and cancelled issues, a number of these prefix numbers were never issued. There were a total of 79 prefixes that were never produced or issued. These prefix numbers are listed below.

The Social Security cards are assumed to occupy prefix numbers 477 to 501 inclusive, even though the numbers do not appear on the cards. Although the 748 $5 Bookmuncher was never issued, there was in fact another card with the 748 prefix.
