The Master contains later overdubs. The first three takes from the May 16 session contained an extra verse, but this was dropped from Take 4 onwards and was not included in the Take 8 Master. On June 10, 1971, Elvis re-recorded the song in a different tempo. After many takes there was an alternate master, but this was not used. This Alternate Master did appear in 1982 on "Memories Of Christmas". | |
