The album was first released with 8 colour variations as shown. The Black & White copy was used for promotions.

The album was first released on CD in 1985 as Mushroom D 37167. This particular album was sold all around the world, and as such, numerous versions and catalogue numbers exist from many countries.




 
A Special Collectors Edition, Laser Etched Disk was also produced with a different colour combination cover. It bore the catalogue number L42001.

This is the first time a New Zealand and Australian single has varied with different B-Sides. The Australian single was first issued in a picture sleeve, before reverting to the standard Mushroom release.



 
The US release of the above single was the same as the New Zealand release, but it had its own unique picture sleeve. It was released on A&M AM-2285.

The Dutch version was the same, also with its own unique picture sleeve, A&M AMS 9104
