There were only 25 sets of these nine cards produced with Concard #1 - #9 overprinted. They consist of 6x$5, a $2, a$10 and a $20.
They were issued by a school teacher from Christchurch by the name of Alan Parris.
He was a keen phonecard collector, but thought overprinted cards were a scam, so he did the Concard International to show up the scam.
However the joke was on Alan, as they were so popular, he could have sold many more than he made.
As you can see from the above images, when the nine cards were fitted together, they read YOU MUG. Who really was the mug!!
